Forest Fires Fighting: Protection and Comfort during Action

WKR Prime, in collaboration with Vectra Uniformes, has developed a special forest fire suit, considering the challenging demands of these operations conducted in extensive areas, requiring intense physical effort in adverse environments.

The suit offers complete protection against flames, smoke and extreme heat, ensuring the safety of firefighters. Made of aramid and carbon fibers, the fabric is light, comfortable and safe, preventing the increase in metabolic heat and thermal stress.

WKR suit was designed taking these characteristics into account, aiming to be lightweight to provide greater comfort and mobility to the fighter, while keeping the same resistance. Manufactured from high-quality materials, DuPont™ Nomex inherently flame-resistant fabric does not require chemical treatments.

Both the pants and the jacket feature flame-resistant reflective strips, providing greater visibility in low-light conditions. According to Standard EN 15614 (A1 e A2), this suit is essential to ensure high fire protection and resistance during forest firefighting operations.
